Vinegar, Dressing & Sauce

Sauces created due to the need of preserving excess crop back when there were no refrigerators.

Dressings have, for many years now, been widely used in order to enhance the flavor and give a special touch to salads, thanks to the unique texture and variety of their ingredients.

Vinegar production is based on the conversion of alcohol into acetic acid. It is also linked with well-being, since vinegar has disinfectant and antimicrobial properties.

All three are used widely in cooking and salads, and are distinguished based on place of origin; however they are all synonymous to the Mediterranean Diet.
